Tyler "The Beast" Carr - Watervliet
Watervliet's Tyler Carr is the son of James and Karla Carr.
Tyler has participated in three sports for the Panthers
while holding a 3.0 GPA in the class room.
In the fall, Carr carried the ball from the running back
position in the Panther high powered offence where he
was named All SAC South honorable mention.
In the spring Carr plays outfield for the Panther baseball
team. However if you've watched him wrestling you know
where he excels.
Tyler is the reigning SAC champion at 152lbs. Going into
his matches on Wednesday he was 21-1 for the season.
As we were getting ready to get our action shots of Tyler,
we almost didn't get them. In his first match of the night he
recorded a 12 second pin, and his second match was a
win by forfeit. We only got 3 shots!
At this time, Tyler is undecided
on what college he will attend after
graduation this spring. His goals
are very straight forward though.
"I want to medal at state and graduate
with a Mechanical Engineering Degree",
said Carr.
With the way Carr's wrestling
season has started, his first goal is off
