Raymond Brenner - Martin
Raymond Brenner of Martin is the son of Ray and Sarah
Brenner. Raymond is a member of the Martin NHS and
carries a 3.8 GPA.
When it comes to athletics, Brenner is at the center of
attention on the playing field. In football, Ray was the
quarterback for the Clippers. In baseball, Brenner holds
down center field, as well as running the 1600 and 3200
meters on the track team. Brenner received All SAC
and All Area in baseball after his junior season.
In basketball, Raymond plays point guard for the
Clippers and is currently the SAC leading scorer, at
21.65 points per game. Brenner was an All SAC player
in basketball after his junior season and improved his
game each season. “Being better than my competition
is my motivation,” says Brenner.
In the fall, Brenner plans on attending GVSU were he will
be majoring in Physical Education. At this time, Ray
plans on becoming a P.E. teacher and would like to
become a professional referee. Brenner adds, “I just
want to live to my full potential!”
